Styling Summer Basics in Style, Summer on 07/17/19Heyooo, hope everyone’s having a great week thus far! Nothing too crazy to report over at The Blonde in Pink HQ, (aka my parent’s house in the suburbs because I’ve Iived at home the past year lol!!), although I did make some serious progress in my LA apartment hunting today… So that is exciting! I’ve narrowed down my top choice of neighborhood, have done a ton of research regarding restaurants, coffee shops, fitness studios, overall vibe of the community, and I’m feeling super pumped. It’s getting so real y’all!! Still have a ton of logistics to nail down, but classes at USC officially start August 26th, so I’d like to be moved in at some point prior to that next month. For some reason I’m feeling very zen and have a total case of “everything will work out the way it’s supposed to” vibes, so not too freaked about my long list of to-do’s and current unknowns. It’s gonna be FUN and I can’t wait to take you guys along with me during my move! Expect a ton of YouTube content 🙂 I took out my new Gucci Princeton loafer mules for a spin over the weekend and wanted to share my head to toe fit! I have been wanting these shoes for years and years and my incredibly sweet, amazing boyfriend got them for me for my 25th birthday. I decided to go with the classic black; however, the pale pink and white ones were on my shortlist. I ended up going up a half-size; I’m typically an 8.5 and the 9/39 is perfect. They are so damn comfy and I’ve been wearing them with everything from denim cut offs to dresses to these favorite Aritzia joggers of mine. I got this mauve color last year and have gotten a ton of wear from them; they are in this very comfortable satin fabric that looks great dressed up or down. I love these for travel! And the elastic waist band is the best for obvious reasons; I wish all of my jeans fit like this lol. The ribbed tank is also by Aritzia! It’s a great basic layering piece and comes in a ton of other colors. I know it’s a bit pricey, but trust me when I say you will 100% get your money’s worth. Plus, the fabric is high quality— thick, stretchy, and soft! It also sucks you in and helps smooth and contour your shape. Oh, and the white isn’t see through 🙂 My bag is the YSL Kate Small Monogram Chain Shoulder bag and my beloved baby!! I’m actually planning on filming a video this week reviewing and talking all about my favorite and most used designer bags, so stay tuned for that as it will be making an appearance. Talk soon, babes! XX
