Changing Up My Winter Skincare With Alba Botanica

I am so excited to be partnering with Alba Botanica for today’s post and sharing my thoughts on two of their new products— Fast Fix for a Pimple concealer, and the Acnedote^™ Face & Body Scrub.

With the changing of seasons and moving into the colder, dryer, winter months, I like to change up my skincare regiment and make sure I am including an exfoliator into my routine to deal with dead skin and help maintain smoothness; I also will typically wear less makeup during this time of year, and like to make sure I have a solid BB cream and concealer to rely on. Alba Botanica products are 100% vegetarian, not tested on animals, and free of artificial colors and synthetic fragrances (all super important traits to me when I’m shopping for skincare products), so this multi-purpose concealer and dual action scrub have been perfect editions to my routine.

Fast Fix for a Pimple- Tinted Zip Zapper

I love this product for a ton of reasons; you can throw it in your purse and take it on the go, it’s packed with natural ingredients like willow bark extract, colloidal sulfur, and licorice root, which works to fight breakouts and clear up your skin, all while offering really awesome coverage. I love a good multi-purpose beauty product, and this fast acting zapper eliminates the need for any additional concealer.

Acnedote^™ Face & Body Scrub

To me, this product is the perfect face scrub; it’s powerful and tough on dead skin cells, but not overly so that it creates rawness. You can use it all over your body to achieve that perfect level of smoothness, but it’s still gentle enough to use a couple times a week on your face, too. I personally will use this face scrub 2-3 times a week (every day may be too rough on your skin), which is just enough to maintain softness and prevent the buildup of dryness. It’s botanically effective, packed with willow bark extract, salicylic acid, and walnut shell to fight breakouts in addition to exfoliating. It buffs away oil, dirt, and leaves skin glowing (seriously, it does). It’s also: dermatologist tested, non-comedogenic, and clinically tested (80% of tested users saw clearer skin throughout the day)
