The High Top Sneaks You Need This Season in Fall, Style, Winter on 11/04/17 Oatmeal Cardigan ‘Lovely’ Pullover High Waisted Skinny Jeans Chloe Marcie Satchel Aviator Sunnies MVMT watch Cougar Downey Shearling Hi Top Happy Saturday, my loves! I am super excited to be sharing the deets on this super casual, weekend perfect fall look, featuring these KILLER shearling high top sneakers by Cougar. Let me tell you guys, the second I took these out of the box, I tried them on, did a little happy dance and was all “yep… yep, these are SO me.” I instantly knew these were going to be a real winner this upcoming season. Isn’t that the best feeling?! I absolutely love wearing high top sneakers in the fall and winter time; I think they look so cool paired with skinny jeans and a simple pullover or cozy knit. Back in college, I had this pair of Vans high top sneakers (ok I still have them- they’re crazy beat up, but I still love ’em!), and I would wear them to class, the bars, with my Pilates workout gear, through the snow, I mean, they hardly came off my feet. I feel like these babies are the perfect upgrade. They remind me of a more sophisticated and trendier Ugg; they’re lined in a faux-lapin fur, so they are soooo cozy and warm. They come in black and grey, but this chestnut shade is definitely my fave— They just go with everything. They’ve been my “every day” shoe; I quickly throw them on when I’m running out grocery shopping, I pair them with joggers and a sweatshirt when I want to be as comfy as possible… They’re just so comfortable and COOL. Another awesome factor about these shoes is that they are waterproof. I KNOW! Living in Chicago especially, this is a huge thing to think about when you’re buying shoes for the winter months. You want to keep your feet warm and dry while not sacrificing style or comfort… These aren’t clunky like a winter boot, but will keep your feet toasty in up to -11°F, and they have a rubber non slip sole that’ll prevent you from slipping in the ice. Order them at Cougar.com ($150). For this look, I paired them with a few other pieces I am currently loving; this “Lovely” pullover ($38) is crazy cozy, and looks just as cute layered up with a cardigan, as it does on its own with sweatpants (AKA how I wear it 9 times out of 10). This oatmeal cardigan ($58) has become a recent obsession because of the great quality; it’s soo soft and thick! I love layering it with thinner sweaters when I want to get away without wearing a coat outside. These high waisted skinny jeans ($135) by Madewell have little buttons on the front, a cool raw hem, and are the most flattering pair of skinnies I own! I definitely overwear these haha, I also just love the wash on them. Madewell by far makes my favorite jeans— They are always great quality, keep their shape and color, priced well, and are always in style!
