Happy Sunday guys! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I was sooo happy to finally be able to take a breather after an insane work week; unfortunately, we had thunderstorms all day Saturday, and both Francis and I were feeling sick, so we kinda felt like the day was robbed from us! We definitely got to make up for it today; it was a perfect, sunny, crisp fall morning, I started my day with maybe the best pumpkin spice latte I’ve ever had (if you’re ever in the North Shore suburbs, be sure to check out Glencoe Roast Coffee!), got to see an exciting Bears win, and got all cozied up to watch Halloweentown— definitely my ideal kind of Sunday 🙂

I recently picked up this pretty pink sweater dress ($49) and have already gotten a ton of wear from it. It’s actually a choker style dress and has a cut out in the chest area; it’s a fun detail on an otherwise simple sweater dress (which every girl definitely needs in her fall wardrobe). I love a good sweater dress because there are a million ways you can style it. You can add jackets, scarves, hats, all kinds of shoes, even throw a skirt over it to make it look like a tucked in sweater— I love how versatile they are. For a chillier daytime look, this one looks super cute with an oversized blanket scarf; I loved how the light shade of pink looked paired against with this navy and and maroon one ($19.99). The dress also comes in grey and black, and is super soft! It’s a great every day piece that can be dressed up or down. It would be perfect to wear to class underneath a denim jacket and a pair of white sneakers; it could also be cute dressed up with a dark, strappy, block heel, and a fun clutch.
