Summer Embroidery With Tangerine NYC in Style, Summer on 07/25/17 Top // Shorts // Sandals // Hat // Sunglasses Hello my little chiquitas, I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start! Excited to be sharing this look with Tangerine NYC with you all; it’s super summery, comfy, low hassle and just such a “me” outfit. Sometimes there isn’t anything better than dressing for no one but yourself and rocking pieces that make you happy and feel great. Embroidery has always held a very special place in my closet; when I was little, my summer wardrobe consisted heavily of flower stitched dresses and blouses, and now it’s always something I gravitate towards during the summer (well actually year round, now that I think about it). And, I love how much I’ve been seeing the trend recently; it gives off the perfect boho vibes paired with your fave denim and a great summer hat. This breezy halter embroidered number is %100 cotton so crazy soft and light; it’s been perfect for the really hot and humid days Chicago gets in July, (yeeet, I don’t even like to think about it). It kind of billows out, so you can wear it long, but it looks great tucked into shorts. I’ve been liiiiving in these raw hem drawstring chambray shorts by Madewell; they are just the best comfy, easy shorts I own. Super versatile too, I love wearing them with cute pullovers as much as I do with dressier tops. This hat is seriously the bomb; I’ve been wearing it with almost anything ever since I got it, haha. Which is funny, because this is the definition of the kind of accessories I would neeeever have had the confidence to wear back in high school. It definitely is a fashion statement, but it goes with everything, so styling it is a really easy, any body can do it task, and let me tell ya, it’ll make you feel like some sort of summer princess.
