3 Ways to Style Bralettes in Style, Summer on 07/14/17This post is sponsored by Kohl’s. I received the included bralettes as compensation. All opinions are my own #sponsored #KohlsBraletteStyle Hello sweet, sweet friends! Today I am super excited to be talking about one of my favorite innovations in the world… Yes, I’m talking about bralettes, people. There are so many reasons why I love wearing bralettes, the first and foremost being I HATE wearing actual bras. I love that bralettes are comfortable, come in such a variety of styles, and can be used to compliment an outfit. I mean, there isn’t anything worse than buying a cute open back top, a tank with a plunging neckline, or a dress that shows a liiiiittle too much side boob, and realizing that your run-of-the-mill bra is peeping through, instantly killing the look you were going for. Bralettes actually add to an outfit instead of taking away. I’m sharing 3 of my personal favorite ways to style a bralette and the ones I’ve been absolutely living in. I got the following all from Kohl’s , which has become my go-to place to shop for these pretties. They have a huge selection of different colors and sizes at great prices; I love that they have sporty ones, lacy ones, patterned ones, (the list seriously goes on), so you’re guaranteed to find a style that’ll work with any look. 1) Layer With Your Favorite Button Down I especially love this style in the summertime. I’ve always loved wearing no-fuss, lightweight tops like this one with the buttons undone, sleeves rolled up, paired with denim cut off shorts. Such a classic, preppy take on summer style! Adding a little lace bralette is the perfect way to take this look to the next level; it adds an extra element of girlyness, and the added texture and color makes this simple look a bit more interesting. I am soo, so in love with this baby pink T-back style bralette. It’s got a bit of a “business in the front, party in the back” thing going on, so it would also be super fun with an open back top so you can really see the pretty color and all that fabulous lace. My collection of sweatpants, graphic pullovers, and super soft tanks is constantly growing, and you can bet that every time I’m in comfy cozies, I’m wearing a bralette. I love that a halter-neck style bralette is a little different, maybe style you wouldn’t immediately gravitate towards; however, in addition to being oh so comfortable, it actually is pretty versatile. The halter makes it great for open back tops when you don’t want anything peeping out. Or, if you do want to bring attention, I love pairing it with my favorite slouchy tees and tanks, like this one. This bralette in particular has more of a sporty vibe to it; it has kind of a chevron patterned lace and is in this great graphite grey color, which looks great paired against a lighter shade of grey. I also really love the edges on this one. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. I love this plunging neck lace cami top, but it’s a bit sheer and the coverage of the v-neck is pretty substantial; it would otherwise be way too revealing. Adding an extra layer of lace underneath allows the top to look as it was intended to be; plus, I think the added extra layer of lace actually ends up enhancing the style. Add a bralette of the same color to any top or dress that has lace coverage and instantly give it a pretty, sophisticated, and chic enhancement. This is definitely one of my go to moves for date nights or a fun night out on the town! JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. That’s all for now!
