Damn Good Face Wash Review in Health & Beauty, Life on 05/29/17 Hope everyone is having a fab long weekend! If you caught my Instastory over the past 24 hours you’ll know I was talked into a very, very last minute road trip up to the Wisconsin Dells (aka THE indoor/outdoor waterpark capital of the world). I had my sister and her boyfriend over to my place for drinks and a few bottles of prosecco later, we had booked a room and were packing up to hit the road first thing in the morning. Let me preface by saying this entire situation was kind of one big L-O-L to us; it’s mostly kids and families and then there’s us hooligans running around with our 42 oz margs in giant souvenir cups. We ate bad pizza, got lost in the hotel without our phones, and went down all the slides in our obnoxious 4 person tube. So silly, such fun times. After a weekend of drinking, quest eating, and chlorine baths, I am feeling quite excited to get back into my regular routines, eat some damn veggies, and give my skin the extra love that it needs! I have been using Damn Good Face wash for a couple months now and could not be more excited to share my love for it with you all! I use “The Works” kit, which consists of a solid, coconut oil based face wash, an apple cider vinegar toner, a dropper bottle of essential oil, and a powdered clay you add a bit of water to and use as spot treatment or mask. My favoriteeee thing about this line is that every bottle is handmade, made from 100% natural ingredients. And a short list of ingredients at that- all things you can actually pronounce. The face wash has organic virgin coconut oil, raw honey, raw shea butter, baking soda, bentonite and tea tree essential oils. In additional to being extremely hydrating, it also works to pull impurities and toxins from the skin. The oil is organ oil based, and is also packed with vitamin e. tea tree, lavender, jojoba, and carrot seed. I absolutely love this oil; I’ll often bring it around with me and use a drop or two during the day if I feel like I need a little moisturizing boost. It also is anti-aging, working to fight against wrinkles. The toner, which I just put on a cottonball and apply all over my face and neck before I oil up, has witch hazel, chamomile, and rose water, which helps color correct, and even out your skin’s tone. It’s anti-inflammatory, soothing, and is a powerhouse whenever I break out. I gotta say, using an organic, natural based sincere line has really made a huge difference for my skin. I have pretty sensitive, combination skin, so prone to both dryness and and the occasional breakout- This line was essentially made for people with just that set of skin problems. I also just love the whole routine of it; it’s truly a pampering experience. The face wash goes on sooo smoothly and I just love how it feels on my face. I also like rubbing it into my hands and just leave it on. It smells amazing and makes your skin crazy soft! Since I’ve started using, I’ve noticed my skin looks brighter, is clearer, more even, and I can’t get over how smooth it is. I’m currently writing this on my drive back to Chicago and I kid you not, the thing I am mot excited for when I get home is to wash my face, and throw on a clay mask and #chill. This stuff is the real deal guys, could not more highly recommend!! Use my code “blondelove20” to take 20% off your order 🙂
