NYE Look: Green Sequin Mini Dress in Style, Winter on 12/03/16 How is it December already?! This year has been flying like crazy! Definitely the fastest of my life. I can’t believe just a few months ago I was living in Boston, still in college, still living the dream… I’ll admit, having a full time job and making money is quite lovely; however, turns out it’s like, you know, hard. So, I constantly am trying to find excitement and fun in all the little things, to do my best to fit in time for myself over the week with things I love to do, like cooking and working out, and by planning trips and activities and other things to look forward to. One thing in particular that I have coming up, and is one of the main motivating factors getting me through all this craziness I have going on it work, is my Christmas trip to Palm Desert. My boyfriend’s fam has the most INSANE house there and I was lucky enough to tag along last year where I had the best best best time. We decided this year to extend our trip a little bit and stay on through New Years Eve and celebrate there; we both decided we can definitely do without the overpriced bar/club scene this year. Gonna go for a more classier and adult like way of celebrating, woo! (Just throwing it out there that we will most definitely be drinking as much champs and shots as we normally would anyway. Not quite yet adults. We try.) I am totally sequin obsessed and am so glad I found this little number to wear this year. It is the perfect season holiday dress; the green is so pretty and different! It’s such an underrated color, especially for blondes I think! It’s also super budget friendly, just $22.90!! I know right?! The quality actually was super impressive, looked nice, wasn’t scratchy or anything, so no worries there. For New Year’s Eve I was thinking this dress would be super cute with a little silvery clutch and light colored heels; I’m probably gonna have to bust out my Valentino Rockstud Stilletos for this one!! I’ve blogged about these over the knee boots a bunch of times, they’re just too good! AND currently on sale for $120. They come in black and a chestnut brown color too! Get them now, thank me later. Anyone else already have NYE plans? Or already know what they’re gonna wear?! Hopefully I’m not the only one… Xo, Meghan
