Distressed Sweater Dress & My Favorite OTK Boots in Fall, Style on 10/25/16 Tall boots and a chunky sweater has been one of my favorite go-to cozy looks for as long as I can remember. It’s such an easy way to keep warm in the cooler weather, feel comfortable, and look effortlessly chic. I’ve been building up my boot collection over the years to maximize my sweater-combo outfit possibilities: I’ve got shades of brown and black, I have short boots and riding boots, I have boots in suede, boots in pebble leather, but what I have yet to find is a good pair of over the knee boots, (until now)!! I used to be a bit wary of this trend, but after years and years of the hottest designers continuously coming out with OTK styles every fall season, I decided that it was time to hop on the train. And I’m so glad that I did, because as soon as these babies came in the mail I knew that this look was going to be making frequent appearances in my ootd’s. These Franco Sarto suede OTK boots are under $200, come in chestnut brown and black in addition to the taupe-y grey color, are super stretchy and soft, and SO comfortable. They have a slight heel, which is great for elongating your legs, but you wouldn’t even notice it was there because of how chunky and supportive it is. This pink sweater dress has also become a wardrobe favorite of mine. It has a ton of really cool details: I love the cold-shoulder cut-outs as well as the distressed look to it. The knit itself is super thick and great quality and the color is SO pretty! It’s kind of like a dusty rose with a hint of shimmer in the thread. It pairs perfectly with my grey boots! I would also totally rock with this dress with booties and a vest or even with a cool pair of sneakers and a blanket scarf. The dress is also on sale for $22.00!! All about them good deals… I’ve had this leopard coat for years but found a perfect dupe at Anthro! I personally treat leopard print as a neutral so with that in mind, you can get a toooon of wear from it. It goes with everything if you just believe it does!! I added a tiny pop of sparkle with this Baublebar choker. This look is a lot less intense than rocking a standard black choker, so it’s a great way to try out the trend if you’re a bit timid. P.S, you can also find a decent dupe of my Valentino Rockstud Camera crossbody here for under $60! Peace out girl scouts. Xo, Meghan
