Crazy Bout Capes in Fall, Style on 10/11/16 Hope everyone’s week is off to a great start! As the temperatures continue to creep on down, and I am in noo way complaining, I find myself continuously coming up with different ways to stay cozy while boppin’ around town. Sure, you can grab a jacket or a sweater or a scarf but THIS is officially my favorite way to layer up. I’m talking about capes!! Which, who are we kidding, are literally just portable blankets you can get away with wearing out in public. Which is fantastic. This one I’m rocking is shaped perfectly for your arms to peep through, is reversible, featuring two light and dark heather grey colored patterns on each side, and is on sale for just $22.99!! It also comes in a super cute camel and oatmeal color combo. And let me just say, it is cozy as heeeeell. It’s officially my favorite thing to wear on Sunday’s- it’s just so easy! Throw it on with leggings, riding boots and a plain long sleeve tee for a chic look that feels like pajamas. I can run my errands and wander through the freezing cold grocery store with as much comfort as sitting on my couch binge watching The Office. (Which I’m currently doing… I think I’ve made it to season 6 in just a week and a half?!) Here are some other styles I’m currently loving: Reversible Plaid & Herringbone Cape – $48.00 Colorblock Poncho – $39.00 ‘Varisty’ Stripe Fringe Wrap – $395.00 And how fun is this lace up white blouse?? It’s high/low in the back, has these dreamy drape-y sleeves, and is only $11.99! I’ve gotten a ton of wear from it, it particularly looks super cute with vests. This hat is also another Fall favorite of mine, even though I’ve really been wearing it since the summer. It comes in a bunch of colors and is under $40! I’ve never really been a ~fancy~ hat person so I’m definitely surprised by how much I wear it. I’ve started wearing it like I would normally wear a baseball cap, just as an easy way to glam up a casual outfit. This $30 black lace choker is also super fun, and cheap enough to try out the trend if you’re not 100% sure about it. (My family gives me so much grief about my chokers, but I love em!!) Lastly, these taupe suede booties are a long time obsession of mine. They’re by Madewell, and get re-released as part of their Fall lineup time and time again, so you know they’re a crowd fave! They are SO comfy and just such a classic shoe. They come in a few colors too (I have my eye on the chestnut leather ones!) What are your favorite Fall trends? I’d love to hear! Xo, Meghan
