Dressed Up Backpack #Back2Kipling

Hey my Internet peeps!

I’m currently camped away at a gigantic conference center in ~somewhat rural~ IL for two weeks for intensive training for my new job as a technology consulting analyst. Everything’s going pretty well so far besides the long days and me having to trade in my cute fun summer clothes for corporate America business casual swag. I’m trying my best here and trying to put my spin on the standard uniform, so potential work attire blog posts to come.

Also, typing this post on my work PC and not my cute little gold MacBook is making me want to chop my fingers off.

Anyway.

I wanted to showcase another look from my collab with Kipling USA. I am currently loving on this adorable little bebee backpack, which you know I had to clip my signature pink pom fluff monster onto.

This backpack is seriously the perfect size- it fits a ton of stuff but is still small and sleek enough to dress up and use in lieu of a regular purse. The three zipper design with the silver Kiplong logo is super sleek and would look perfect with an all black edgy look or with a casual summer dress, like the one I’m wearing here.

PS. So quick story- for the first time I got a rude comment on one of my Instagram posts by some random adult dude living in the Middle East. He said something to the degree of, “Your photographer does not know how to take a photo.”

It was a little sad. Especially since… Well yeah, I do not and have never worked with a professional photographer for my posts. The power of an iPhone 6 baby.

This blog and my Insta would legit cease to exist without the help from my friends and family, who take photos for me whenever we’re just out and about and I see a backdrop I think looks cool.

My ever so patient and sweet boyfriend has been taking my photos for me recently, and he is an absolute gem about it, always willing to re-take them if I don’t like how they come out and is just so so supportive of everything I do that is Blonde in Pink. So I just wanted to give him a little recognition because of how amazing he is and comment on how great his photo taking skills have become!! I was v pleased with how these ones turned out. So say what ya will random Middle Eastern man, I’ll take my amateur photog team over a professional any day.
